Financial services firms not high on Danish graduates' wishlist
The credit crunch hasn't affected Danish graduates' desire to work in financial services, but that's not to say it's a particularly popular industry.
Instead, the top 10 of research firm Universum's 2009 Danish Student Survey is dominated by large domestic energy companies, like Vestas and A.P. Mller - Maersk, or big firms like Lego and Carlsberg. Just three financial services firms scrape into the top ten.
Elsewhere in the Nordic region, the Big Four accountancy firms - Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers - proliferate the top spots, but they lose out to bluechip domestic players in Denmark. Danske Bank is the most popular financial services employer in 8th spot.
Research firm Universum takes in responses from over 11,000 final and penultimate year students on the top 100 most attractive firms to work for.
