Lehman Brothers may be down, but it's not out yet. The firm still has $7 billion in cash and $12.3 billion worth of private investments. Then there's its $24 billion worth of derivative contracts. So, for the next couple of years, anyway, it's a good place to work. Alvarez & Marsal, the restructuring firm that's winding Lehman down, has been hiring staff to tackle areas such as derivatives and real-estate holdings.
