The News: Bad Days at Barclays
After chopping 2,100 jobs in its investment bank Tuesday, Barclays announced an additional 2,100 cuts yesterday, these in its retail, commercial banking and credit card units. Analysts at the investment bank were supposedly receiving three months' severance and no bonus.
