A plethora of events for professionals "in transition," many of them free, take place in and around New York City over the next couple of weeks.
This coming Tuesday, Jan. 13, features a networking "Pink Slip Party" in White Plains from 6 - 8:00 p.m. Recruiters from throughout the New York metropolitan area will be on hand. The event benefits the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's local chapter. (eFinancialCareers is a co-sponsor.) Admission is $10.

Wednesday, Jan. 14, from 6:30-8:00 p.m., career coaches Brad Agry, Sharon Naulty and Win Sheffield will provide a one-night resume review workshop with feedback on participant resumes. Pre-registration is encouraged, and admission is $20 ($25 at the door).
