Best financial services firms to work for

Want to arrive at work on a Monday with a spring in your step and a smile on your line-less face? Best work for one of the Big Four accountancy firms then, apparently. Well, make that Big Three, as Ernst & Young was the only one of the quartet not to feature on the list of best firms to work for in Ireland.

PricewaterhouseCoopers is the best place to work in Ireland, according to the 2008 top 50 list compiled by Great Place to Work Institute Ireland. KPMG is the winner for training and development, while Deloitte takes top spot for work-life balance.

The list surveys responses from the employees themselves, but whether the forms were completed under the boss's watchful eye isn't revealed...

Anyway, below are the financial services firms that managed to break into the top 50 (note: only one of the big domestic banks features), and we've even included the recruiters that made the cut.
