I had an interview with another investment bank, and I was asked similar questions to these.

Now anon's advice is so much better than the candidate's answers!

Surely these are not full answers. Each answer should take at least a minute, think STAR - Situation Task Action and Result eg. for when an event did not go to plan you set the scene ie how long ago, what context the project was in. then explain to the interviewer what your target was to do in the project. go on to explain how you failed in this and why. Don't forget to say what the consequences were. Finish by saying what you learnt and how you now carry out similiar tasks differently because of what you learnt by your mistakes.
