In the Denver-based real estate practice, David Daniel and Thomas Ray got the nod, as did Charlie Moore and Lori Sabet in Washington D.C., and Brent Whisenant, of the venture and growth capital group in San Francisco.

Carlyle also promoted 18 staff members to the rank of principal/director, the newspaper said.
