PR staff enjoy multi-million dollar money pot

City PR firm Financial Dynamics has been bought by US rival FTI Consulting in a deal that will see senior executives share a 50m payout, with more cash incentives on the way.

The Guardian says 160 of Financial Dynamics' 450 employees will split just under 50m in cash, with several high-ranking executives expected to receive "substantial" cash payments.

Employees will also receive over 15m in shares which they can cash in if they stay with the firm for three years. FTI Consulting is also offering employees a further 43m in cash, linked to a five-year, earn-out programme.

Financial Dynamics chief executive, Charles Watson says the earn-out is "an absolutely compelling reason for people to stay".

The firm expects to exceed revenues of $120m this year.
