Singer & Friedlander fills in the gaps
Investment bank Singer & Friedlander has hired 6 private client specialists in an effort to plug the gap that was left when 14 investment managers walked out on the firm last month.
Singer lost a team of 10 private client managers to Close Brothers, and a team of 4 based in Leeds to Newton Investment Management, Wealthbriefing reports.
David Thompson joins Singer from Rensburg Investment Management, Mark Sherwood from Cazenove, Alastair Beck from Mercury Asset Management, Charles Heaton from Rathone Investment Management, Jeremy Tailor-Firth and James de Broe-Ferguson from Fortis Private Investment Management.
Further hires will be announced in the next month.
