ABN AMRO to expand in Dubai
ABN AMRO will be the next investment bank to move into the Dubai International Financial Centre. The Dutch bank has received a license to trade at the Middle Eastern financial hub.
Wealthbriefing.com reports that ABN AMRO plans to use Dubai as a hub for its Asian investment banking and private banking expansion.
Colin McDonald, the bank's country executive in the UAE, says "ABN AMRO is already well positioned within the marketplace and the key focus for the coming months will be to combine our local client knowledge and global product expertise which will enable us to deliver more innovative solutions to our clients."
