Old Mutual cuts staff
Old Mutual, the South African insurer, is cutting 600 staff in the UK and 100 in Sweden, reports The Telegraph.
The cuts follow the company's acquisition of Swedish-based Skandia earlier this year, and the installation of new IT systems, which require fewer staff to operate.
