Lehman set to carry on hiring

Lehman Brothers has reiterated its commitment to hiring new members of staff.

When the bank announced its quarterly results yesterday, chief executive Richard Fuld, said it planned to increase staff numbers by 10% this year, reports The Telegraph.

Lehman has already added 468 staff since it reported its annual results in November last year. In order to reach the 10% mark, it has another 1,823 to go. Most of the new hires are likely to be outside the U.S.
