JM Finn calling corporate brokers
Independent stockbroker JM Finn has become the latest firm to cash in on companies' enthusiasm to list on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM).
The firm has received nominated advisor, or 'nomad', status, which allows it to advise companies listing on the secondary market, the Financial Times reports today.
So does this mean it will be hiring in corporate finance types? Apparently not. Eddie Edmonstone, head of corporate broking at JM Finn told eFinancialCareers the firm has already added to its corporate finance roster and is now fully staffed in the area.
But they are on the look out for one or two new corporate brokers, says Edmonstone: "They'd need to have a great deal of experience."
