Financial services employees better off in London

According to the survey, life in Glasgow is 27% less costly than life in London.

This may sound like good news for people seeking banking roles in Scotland. However in many cases, higher pay in London more than outweighs higher costs.

Recruitment firm Joslin Rowe's salary survey suggests starting salaries in London are 90% higher than in Scotland. This is despite London being only 27% more expensive to live in.
