Cantor Builds Fixed Income Research Team
Brokerage firm Cantor Fitzgerald has built up its fixed income and currency research team by hiring Uwe Parpart as a managing director and head of fixed income and currency research for Asia.

Prior to joining Cantor Fitzgerald, Parpart was a senior currency strategist at Bank of America in Hong Kong, responsible for coverage in Japan, Korea, and China. Previously, he was an adviser on corporate finance for Kwan Wing Holdings, a private holding company for several Hong Kong-listed firms doing business in the financial, telecommunications, and media sectors in mainland China.
Parpart's hiring is the latest for the brokerage firm. Last month, Cantor expanded its debt capital markets group, hiring Jack Nealon and Tom Hogan as fixed income sales executives. In April, Cantor named Bill Adams senior vice president and municipal bond trader within its debt capital markets group.
