Arc Securities opens London office
Edinburgh-based bond broker, Arc Securities is opening a new London office.
The company has hired Simon Ballard, previous senior credit strategist with BNP Paribas, to manage the new operation as head of research, reports the Financial Times.
Arc has also hired Nigel Saunders as a senior salesman, and James Currie as a sales and business management executive.
The office will begin operations with three or four staff from the first week in July, and Ballard says there will possibly be scope for expansion in the next eighteen to twenty months within fixed income corporate.
