Mellon comes to London
Mellon Financial, the US-based financial services company, plans to open a private client business unit in London to service wealthy families.
Bob Kelly, chairman and chief executive of Mellon told the Financial Times that the UK provides "a fabulous market for wealth management." The company is also mooting a similar operation in Germany.
