Financial services salaries bubbling in Dublin
The Dublin jobs market is the hottest it's been in five years, with salaries increasing by 22.5% since October, according to the May edition of The Blomfield Group Financial Services Employment Index.
The research shows that in terms of salary progression, Dublin is outpacing London, where salaries have increased by only 5.4% since last October. Paul Cotter, managing director of the group's Joslin Rowe office in Dublin, says, "Strong demand for talented, well qualified candidates in Dublin is pushing pay up."
The average salary in Dublin last month was €39,302, compared to €31, 936 in Scotland, where salaries have increased by 10.8% since October. The average salary in London last month came in at €54, 096.
