DWS Scudder Boosts Sales

DWS Scudder, the U.S. mutual fund business of Deutsche Asset Management, has strengthened its sales division with 15 new appointments.

Jason Inglis, Mitchell Izumi, Matthew Sawyer and Douglas Wallace join as regional vice presidents covering the western U.S. They will report to regional director John Telling.

Phillip Northington, Colleen Ignacio Yee and Jeffrey Smith have been appointed regional vice presidents covering the southern U.S. They report to regional director Mark Perrelli.

Christopher Berg will become a regional vice president for the central U.S., reporting to regional director Bud Cappola.

Added to the retirement services division as specialists are Ruben Gonzalez for the Northeast, Richard Merson covering the West, Kevin Morgan for the south-central U.S., and Bill Wilkinson for the Midwest. They report to Ron Cohen, head of retirement plan services.

Also appointed as an account manager is Kristina Young. She will report to Steve DiMaio.

Derik Liberatore will join the financial institutions group as an assistant vice president and report to Kim Mustin.

Andrea Schlapia joins as a vice president and advanced sales specialist, and report to Scott Frumhoff.

Last week, DWS Scudder appointed Regis Amarger its first chairman of the board of directors.
