Irish pay lags the UK
According to the paper, average pay in the sector is just €33,000, compared to €52,000 in London.
Conditions are looking good for job seekers, however. The paper cites research from recruitment company the Blomfield group indicating that there were 2,600 new financial services jobs in Dublin in January, compared to 1,925 in September and 950 in December.
