Junior corporate financiers wanted
Nomura is on the look out for junior corporate financiers.
A spokeswoman for the Japanese bank, which last December announced plans to boost its European investment banking headcount by more than 30%, says its 2006 hiring efforts are focused on juniors.
"We have the senior staff in place already," she says. "We will be hiring at associate and VP level to join our existing teams and build up our investment banking business." She says the bank hired three associate level staff into its M&A team in the past six weeks.
