ACA skill set will put you in the bank
To jump into an investment bank's accountancy department, you will need to start by taking the ACA (Association of Chartered Accountants) qualification. This typically takes three years and involves studying everything from accounting and business finance to commercial and company law.

What is product control?
As a product controller, you will act as a financial advisor to the trading floor of an investment bank. Product controllers ensure the trading floor operates in accordance with regulations and analyse the risk, pricing and profit and loss of trading deals.
