Shadows lengthening over the MBA
Of 100 senior managers in UK and European financial services companies questioned by OPP, a firm of business psychologists, most had reduced their reliance the Masters of Business Administration programmes.
OPP said the respondents felt the benefits of MBAs, investment certificates and post-graduate business schools did not outweigh the costs. Instead, more were turning to internal schemes, with 34% favouring executive coaching and 30% using mentoring to develop leadership skills.
