Former Warren executive sets up London search firm

Campden will focus on asset management and private banking appointments. John Rumsey, former head of research at Warren, has joined Campden as a partner.

Warren, a US-based company, has closed its London office. Barrow said Campden had acquired its daatbase of 5,000 people.

Barrow, a former head of client services for equities at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in Europe, said Campden is backed by several external investors who have been senior figures in fund management.

He said: 'There is an upturn coming and this is a good time to build our business.' Campden is likely to hire more consultants soon, he added.
