Napier Scott hires Melkonian

Melkonian joins from Search Partners where he had been a director since 1997. Before that he worked in fixed income sales and proprietary trading roles for several investment banks.

He began his career in London in 1983 when he was posted from New York to establish a US Treasury trading and sales desk for Chase Manhattan.

Melkonian's appointment follows that of Simon Jaquiss, who joined the firm last month to cover currency markets.
