Astbury Marsden hires from Man Financial
Before working at Man, Bongard was head of pan-European equity dealing and global program trading at Schroders Investment Management.
Astbury Marsden has also made other hires in the last few months, including Laurence
Tudor-Williams, who was head of banking at the recruitment firm Morgan McKinley, as its director and head of banking finance.
The other arrivals included consultants Nishreen Attard, who was recruited from Michael Page City, Caroline Harrison from Robert Walters, Andrew Howard from Chamberlain Scott and Angela Brown from TMP.
Paul Marsden, the managing director, said the firm had also hired some researchers as part of expansion plans. Astbury Marsden was founded in 1995 by Marsden and headhunter Jonathan Astbury, who left it three years ago.
