Kinsey Allen hires Carrier for equity search

He previously covered the same markets for Wellington Consulting, a firm that was wound up at the beginning of this year. Earlier he worked for the recruitment firm Robert Walters and before that was a financial analyst at CSFB and Deutsche Bank.

Carrier said: "The global equity capital markets have experienced a torrid time over the past three years. But European equity-linked issuance is on-target for a record year and is resulting in increased optimism in equities as a whole, particularly derivatives and potentially for IPO

activity in 2004.

"As a result (some) institutions....are beginning to tentatively look at rebuilding their decimated equity capital markets teams."
