Groh joins A.T. Kearney from TMP
He is the latest of a number of senior departures from TMP's search division, where he was global co-head of investment banking and capital markets.
Before working for TMP, Groh, a German national, worked for the technology-focused search firm then known as Ray & Berndtson and the global search firm Russell Reynolds.
Dee Symonds, another senior TMP Worldwide search executive, left in March to join Russell Reynolds, just before TMP's search and e-resourcing arms were spun off from the rest of TMP's businesses. They are being rebranded as Hudson Highland.
Groh said 'When I learned about the spin-off I decided to leave, wanting to avoid the third re-branding in three years. Continuity is very important to me and my business.'
A.T.Kearney has an unusual presence in the executive search business in that it is completely integrated within a broader consulting firm.
