Sullivan returns to Heidrick
In the part-time role he will advise on marketing, client development and
expansion, as well as public relations.
Sullivan is on a five-year contract with Heidrick that began in 1999 when the
global firm bought his financial services boutique, Sullivan & Co.
He became managing partner of its global financial services practice, which had more
than 200 professionals at its height.
Heidrick & Struggles shed 100 headhunters globally last year. It made a net
loss of $20m (€18.1m) in the fourth quarter, improving on a $35.3m loss the year
before.
Sullivan is one of the firm's largest individual shareholders.
