However for a transitional period it will be called TMP Hudson Global Resources on the staffing side and TMP Hudson Human Resources Consulting on the consulting side.
Confusingly, the former search unit will also have the transitional name of TMP Highland Partners.
But there are plans to phase out use of 'TMP' in the name completely over two years.
Hudson Highland Group will offer executive search, staffing and talent assessment as its core strengths and expects to trade on NASDAQ as HHGP.
Jon Chait, chairman and CEO said: 'We've spent considerable time and effort engaging internal and external specialists to arrive at a name that we all believe will best serve as our new corporate entity and enable us to clearly distinguish ourselves within the staffing and search industry.'
The spin-off separates the new company from TMP's advertising business and its Monster internet recruitment site.
