Alexander Mann hires from Stephens and Robet Walters

The firm said Horlock's recruitment was part of an expansion of its financial services search practice following the opening of offices in Milan, Madrid, Frankfurt and Hong Kong, which it staffed last year with eight recruits from Stephens' Asian office.

Earlier this year Simon Vaughan-Edwards, deputy managing director of AMGM, was lured away from AMGM by Fiona Stephens to assist the rebuilding of Stephens Associates after it lost the majority of its staff in 2001.

However, Vaughan-Edwards was persuaded to stay at AMGM as managing director in London while he was still on gardening leave.

Alexander Mann's solutions division has added Jerry Collier to its ranks as a sales director. He joins from Robert Walters where he was managing director of Resource Solutions and will report to Rosaleen Blair, managing director of Alexander Mann Solutions.
