Spencer Stuart hires from Korn/Ferry
Chuck Delman and Kristin Wait, who recruit operations and technology executives for financial services companies, are the latest in a series of defections from Korn/Ferry.
Speaking in London, Jason Chaffer, co-head of global financial services, said Spencer Stuart's US financial services practice was ahead on revenues compared to last year, while in the UK the practice had managed to remain flat on 2001.
Corporate restructuring in the US had boosted both the financial services and the board practices.
Like other large search firms, Spencer Stuart has seen a fair amount of activity back and forth as search consultants jump ship in search of better remuneration and safe havens.
Chaffer said 52 consultants at Spencer Stuart had gone in the last year but 33 had been hired, resulting in an upgrading of headhunting talent.
