b>Minimum academics:

Most divisions specify a 2:1 degree minimum, for UK applicants. For positions in financial markets, candidates should ideally have a degree in a finance/business/management discipline.

Applicants to technology positions should ideally have a degree in a computing, maths, business or other numerate discipline.

Candidates must complete an online application form and complete an online numerical reasoning test, the results to which are communicated within three days.

UK internships begin in July and typically last for 10 weeks. In its continental European offices, the bank also offers internships throughout the year, dependant on the needs of our businesses

Training offered during internship:

The programme begins with a week of classroom-based training providing an introduction to financial markets, an overview of business units, soft skills and IT skills. Continuous learning is encouraged through business-led seminars, online learning, presentations and informal networking events.

Methods of assessment (ie. formal examination, presentation etc.):

Progress and performance are closely monitored through objectives and a mid-term and final review.
