Cantor broker joins Cresta recruitment firm

Rossi Fornelli will focus on credit derivatives as well as other fixed income roles. At Cantor Fitzgerald she was an interest rate swaps broker.

Ben Dear, the managing director of Cresta, said the appointment reflected the continued hiring activity in fixed income.

He said the appointment of Rossi Fornelli, who speaks English, Italian and French, would increase Cresta's European reach.

'Demand from clients means we are looking to push our business further into European financial centres. In areas like credit structuring, continental Europeans tend to be better educated,' and therefore more attractive to employers, he said.
