AMGM hires TMP headhunter in Hong Kong
He was formerly with the rival TMP Group in Hong Kong and will join the business next week.He will work in private banking and wealth management and will report to Mike Brennan, managing director of AMGM Asia.
Last month Jeremy Harris joined AMGM in Hong Kong from from rival global headhunter Heidrick & Struggles. Harris, who was head of financial services in Singapore for Heidrick, focuses on equities, investment banking and fund management.
Brennan said: "The Asia-based team now services client needs in the equity, fixed income and FX/treasury markets as well as investment banking, fund management, private banking and structured products across all asset classes."
AMGM's drive into Asia began in June last year when it acquired an eight-strong team from boutique headhunter Stephens International.
Last month AMGM persuaded Simon Vaughan-Edwards, who left the firm in May to help Fiona Stephens re-build Stephens International, to return to the firm as deputy managing director in London.
