Thacker leaves search firm Mantaray

His gardening leave begins now and runs for two months.

Sources close to Thacker say he is looking forward to running the European fixed-income practice for sales and buy-side clients for a US search firm. Thacker himself says he sees it as "a new opportunity in fixed-income search."

Thacker joined Devonshire in 1999 and focused on asset-backed securitisation. His experience in the banking sector included HSBC and CIBC World Markets.

While he was with Devonshire, the search firm won European specialist recruiter of the year at the International Securitisation Review awards for three years running.
