Equity research specialist leaves recruiter Blackwood
It was not immediately clear where he had gone. Susie Cummings, the firm's founder, said it was an amicable parting.
Blackwood specialises in investment banking, private equity, private banking and the technology sector. Amanda Smithson joined Cummings as co-partner in 2000 from Morgan Stanley, and in 2001 Harry Chetwood was hired from the headhunter Richmond & Co to specialise in asset management.
Rowena Colthurst and Emily Taylor are the two other remaining consultants who originally moved with Cummings from The Rose Partnership to the Highland Group before setting up Blackwood. Cummings said the firm was still "actively hiring."
