Search firm Rochester opens Milan office, sees more Italian activity

The firm's main office is in the City of London and it has representative offices in Germany, Switzerland, Japan, North America and Eastern Europe.

Rod Bailey is leading the expansion in Milan and Valeria Canzi, who ran her own financial services search firm in Italy, has been hired to head the office there.

The office is expected to cover regional business originating in southern Europe. Rochester Partnership specialises in the debt and equity capital markets, private equity and venture capital, corporate finance and structured products, as well as private banking and wealth management.

The headhunter says most of its assignments are in the pan-European and Asia-Pacific regions. Considerable activity in the Italian banking sector has made Milan its first choice in a wider expansion strategy, the company said.
