Torus human capital firm makes two acquisitions
The first is Plus Consulting, which merged with Proclus Business Coaching in November last year and now forms a personal development consultancy with a focus on training.
The second buy is the Inspired Leaders network, founded by Meenu Bachan. This is a learning network that enables members to share their experiences and the essence of what they have done to improve business results.
Freddie de Lisle, CEO of the Torus Partnership, a publicly-listed company, has a background as a headhunter in the general insurance industry. In the early 1990s, he was a partner in De Lisle Jessup Scott, specialising in mergers and acquisitions in the insurance sector.
De Lisle intends to add change management, outplacement and interim management to Torus' portfolio of services, and to expand headhunting beyond its core insurance sector. He said: "Our plans are in place to continue to grow and we are aiming to achieve 30m turnover and 6m profits by 2007."
