Spence handled corporate finance recruitment at AT Kearney, but will now cover a broader range of areas.
"This is giving me the flexibility to cover more of the financial markets, such as corporate finance, private equity, equity capital markets, debt capital markets and areas like hedge funds," she said.
Financial headhunters have struggled as banks have cut back staff. Spence said: "The market atmosphere is considerably better than it was at the beginning of the year. If we succeed in a market such as this, our muscles will be toned for when the markets turn upwards."
