CIFT financial training firm offers online courses

The firm already provides face-to-face financial training for clients such as Merrill Lynch, WestLB, Morgan Stanley and ABN Amro, training staff from graduate entry level up to senior and masterclass courses. It also provides such training to individuals.

It is now offering more than 150 hours of browser-based online training covering a variety of financial topics. These include introductions to financial markets, fund management and capital valuation, portfolio management, derivatives, risk management, regulation and compliance, which includes money laundering.

Training can be either totally or partly online. An online pre-course can followed by a physical meeting with the trainer and the rest of the training be completed online.

People taking a course can discuss issues with each other via online discussion forums and chat rooms. The cost of an online course module varies from 39 to 89.

More widely known by its acronym, CIFT stands for the Center for Interactive Training.
