Fairplace hires headhunter as outplacement consultant

Church joins from the recruitment firm Richmond & Co., where she ran the corporate banking practice for two years. Earlier she spent more than 20 years at Chase Manhattan in sales and relationship roles.

Andrea Eccles, managing director of Fairplace, said the firm had hired several new staff over the past year to deal with an upsurge in the use of outplacement services, as financial services firms in London shed staff. She said there was no sign of the lay-offs abating.
