AT Kearney appoints head of executive search

Fisher replaces Gene Shen, who left the company last week. AT Kearney has declined to give a reason for Shen's departure. The Hunt-Scanlon recruitment newswire said the firm had been investigating allegations that academic and employment details on Shen's curriculum vitae had contained inaccuracies.

Fisher becomes president of AT Kearney Executive Search after joining the firm in 1995 and establishing its search practice in Asia, opening offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul, Sydney and Tokyo.

Since 1999 he has been leader of the firm's Central North America and Asia regions and, more recently, co-leader of AT Kearney Executive Search's consumer and industrial search practices.

He was interim president of AT Kearney Executive Search for six months during 2001.

Before joining AT Kearney, Fisher was associate director of the general management consulting practice of KPMG in Hong Kong.
