Alexander Mann makes mark in Asia survey

Rival headhunter Whitney O'Neill is now rated second in the sector after being first last year according to the poll by AsiaMoney, which is based on the opinions of senior bank executives.

Alexander Mann also ranks fourth in the poll for equities searches Asia-wide. Joint first place for equities goes to Eban and Executive Access.

Individual headhunters Stephen McAlinden at Eban and Ranjan Marwah at Executive Access are respectively seen as first and second most admired consultants for equities and investment banking search Asia-wide.

Whitney O'Neill remains top in debt and treasury searches, followed by Heidrick & Struggles. Harry O'Neill, at Whitney O'Neill, retains the accolade of best individual for derivatives and structured product search in Asia, followed by Mike Brennan and James Lawrence-Brown, both at Alexander Mann.

For private banking searches Asia-wide, Executive Access takes the lead, followed by TMP Worldwide.
