Korn/Ferry appoints Macleay to Europe role
Macleay began her career at the niche financial services search firm The Consulting Group, which was acquired by TMP Worldwide. She has since worked for three smaller specialist search firms.
Her appointment is intended to boost Korn/Ferry's search capability in the financial services sector in Europe, an area where the recruitment firm's activity has dwindled in recent years.
Macleay said: "The last six months have been difficult, but we are beginning to see signs of an upturn in global markets recruitment in London. Whilst this is not necessarily an indication of improvement in the economic climate as a whole, it is an encouraging signal."
She will be working with Sally Rowley-Williams, the managing vice-president heading Korn/Ferry's financial services practice in Europe.
