Recruitment firm Sheffield Haworth expands

The firm said it was taking advantage of the economic downturn to expand, at a time when many recruitment companies have shed employees.

Raj Sitlani has joined the equities practice in London as a senior consultant to focus on the derivatives market. He previously worked for ADM Investor Services, a UK wealth management firm, as head of derivatives sales.

James Gardner has joined the equities team in London as divisional director, focusing on cash equities. He will handle senior level sales, trading and research mandates having previously worked for the recruitment firm, Sammons Associates.

Philip Woodisse has joined the global markets team as a senior consultant in London, covering structured products. He arrived from for Korn Ferry, the recruitment firm, in New York.

Dominie Moss has joined the global markets team in London as an associate, to handle treasury and structured products. She arrived from Prudential-Bache, the securities firm, where she sold futures and options to institutional clients.

In Paris the firm has recruited Pierre Filliole as a senior consultant. He will focus on the fixed income and treasury markets as part of the firm's pan-European global markets team. Previously he was vice president, human resources, at ABN Amro.

In Frankfurt the firm has recruited Gerard Light as a senior consultant to focus on technology and infrastructure. He joined from Commerzbank, where he held various technology positions.
