Alexander Mann poaches global markets team for Asia
The team is led by Marco James and Andrew Farish, both previously executive directors at Stephens International based in Hong Kong. They join as partners in the equities sales, trading and research specialist's Alexander Mann Global Markets Asia unit.
Meanwhile, Mike Brennan, one of Alexander Mann's board directors and who was responsible for establishing the firm's Asian presence, will relocate to Hong Kong from London. As managing director of Alexander Mann Group Asia he will help expand the group's presence in Tokyo and Singapore.
Farish said: "Alexander Mann showed a genuine commitment to Asia which has been illustrated by its willingness to move Mike Brennan out to Hong Kong to work with us. We won't be just some branch office 8,000 miles away as our business partners will be in Hong Kong working with us and helping us every day."
