Christian & Timbers expands US and London offices

John Hasenauer has joined the Connecticut firm from search company Warren International and will be responsible for building a global asset management and insurance practice.

Before that he spent 10 years working in financial services, starting at Citigroup. He has also been vice-president of institutional sales with Aeltus Investment Management.

Christian & Timbers' global financial services practice is co-headed from New York and Connecticut by Tom Brennan and Mark Esposito and covers investment banking, asset management and insurance.

Simon Francis has been poached by Christian & Timbers from larger rival Heidrick & Struggles. He joins as a vice-president in the London office and has eight years of headhunting experience with a focus on high technology markets. Francis worked for Heidrick in both London and California.
