ABN Amro boosts supervisory board

Baron de Rothschild, 57, is a senior partner of Rothschild et Cie Bank in France and deputy chairman of the Rothschild Group, with which ABN Amro has operated an equity capital markets joint venture since 1997. Groenman, 58, is a member of the Dutch Social and Economic Council, the main advisory body to the government in social and economic policy. From 1981 to 1995 she was an MP for D66, the centre-left Dutch political party. Chris Mann has been appointed deputy chief cashier and head of market services at the Bank of England. He is currently senior manager of customer settlement services, but will transfer next month when Mike Phillips retires.
