Isaacs promoted at Lehman in Europe
John Weguelin has been appointed chief operating officer for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at Bank of America. Weguelin will report to Alexandra McLeod, head of EMEA corporate banking, and will have responsibility for strategy development and implementation, management infrastructure and costs, analysis of investment opportunities and managing expansion in Europe. He will also be responsible for marketing and communications. The appointment follows Gordon Sangster's move from chief operating officer of EMEA to international treasurer in the global markets group. Both jobs are based in London.
